Core Graphics and Visualization Research Initiative
A Key objective of the facility is to develop paradigms and tools for visualization and rendering scientific and engineering data. Projects in Computer Science (CS), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Psychology, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Graphics Technology (CGT) investigate these problems aggressively. Accounting for touch, visual, auditory feedback, and for human perception, they develop new, perceptually astute techniques for interacting with the user and rendering.
