Envision Center leads winning team in Google 3D Campus Contest
118 buildings of Purdue University's West Lafayette Campus are created.3D Models include all Academic and Administrative buildings as well as a couple parks and the major Athletics facilities.Check out the Project Showcase here ! As part of the winnings, Google will fly and host 9 Purdue team members at Google's Mountain View campus.

 Envision undergraduates" swept" the student poster competition.
Christopher Hartman won 1st place in the "2007 Undergraduate Research
and Poster Symposium" with the poster "Autonomous Boids" in the category Mathematical/Computational Science. (Research Mentor: Dr. Bedrich Benes)
Mark Coster, Andrew Hudecki, Kirk Layman, and Joseph MIller won 2nd place in the Design/Innovation category with "Rolls Royce on automated geometry modeling of airfoils". (Research Mentor: Dr. Nathan Hartman )
Aaron Mackie, Michael Pastko, and Miriam Simon -- members of another student group working on a collaborative project with BMW -- won 3rd place in the technology category with the poster "Powerhaus, Inc." (Research Mentor: Dr.Laura Arns)
